Meet the teacher: Kaitlyn 

Welcome to RKSG!  My name Is Kaitlyn and I am so excited for you to join us for lessons.  

I have been teaching private lessons for 14 years, and switched to 100% online In March of 2020.  I hold a Bachelor's of music degree in Viola Performance and in Music Education. 

Currently, I play violin and viola with the Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra, the Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra, and the Woodstock Symphony. You can also see me performing at various special events and weddings throughout the Metro-NY area.  

Since 2018, I have been serving as the Director of Music for St. Denis Church. As part of this role, I oversee choirs, cantors, and instrumentalists, curating their performances for various church services throughout the year.

Private lessons are my favorite aspect of music, and I am thrilled to share the joy and fun that comes with playing "shoulder instruments" that I have experienced throughout my life. Whether you're interested in classical, pop, improvisation, or other genres, personalized lessons offer tailored attention to cultivate any student's love of music!
